Find the frame where the action is visible, then compare it with the sound’s attack. Event sounds are different from the rest of the soundtrack

Continuous ambience includes room tone, wind, or traffic. Event sounds mark an action: a foot landing, a zipper being pulled, or a door reaching its frame. Log the visible event before changing anything

When the door visibly meets the frame, add one separate restrained closing sound. Do not add a second slam, footsteps, music, or changing room tone.

Observe the swing, narrowing gap, and final contact. Listen for movement sound during the swing and one distinct closing sound at the end. If it drifts, shorten the action and adjust only the movement-to-contact description; prompt timing is not frame-accurate control.

Generation and post-production have different jobs

During generation, describe action and sound as a causal sequence: contact, movement, then release or stop. Timing words are instructions, not a guarantee. The current workflow does not establish a separate event-sound track, waveform timeline, stem export, or one-click synchronization control.

In an external editor, locate the event frame, move the effect start, trim its length, and adjust level. If the entire soundtrack is late by the same amount, a global offset may help. No. A changed prompt applies to a new generation. To keep the existing picture, adjust, replace, or rebuild its soundtrack in an external editor.
